A few years ago, I made my first color blocked infinity scarf… little did I know it would become one of my absolute favorites and inspire many variations of this scarf. I searched high and low to find the right yarn to make an official version of this design and finally found the perfect tweed yarn to bring this to life!
The Half n Half Infinity is the best of both worlds. Why pick one color when you could have two? It’s easy to style to showcase both colors in different ways! With a beautiful texture and endless versatility, this scarf will quickly become a go-to accessory in your fall and winter wardrobe.
Curl up on the couch, turn on the TV, and get lost in this super relaxing project. The Half n Half Infinity scarf is the perfect for the beginner crocheter or anyone looking for a fun and easy project.

The Perfect Fall & Winter Yarn
This yarn is one that you instantly fall in love with because it is SO SOFT! I love how you can see the different tones in each color and if you look closely, you’ll see that the tweed flecks are yellow and purple! It’s the perfect choice for so many fall and winter projects.
Keep in mind, Provincial Tweed comes in hanks! This means you’ll have to wind it into a ball or cake before using it. I’m a little impatient, so I always use my swift & ball winder, which make process super quick and easy so I can jump straight into crocheting!
Want to use yarn from your stash?
This pattern would be a great stash buster too! You’ll need about 200 yards of worsted weight yarn for each color (400 yards total for the entire project). If you have a little more or less than that, no worries! You can easily add or remove rows in your scarf to make it work for however much yarn you have.

Stitch Explanation
Foundation Single Crochet (Fsc)
Instead of using chains, this pattern uses the foundation single crochet method to create the first row. This method allows the bottom edge of your scarf to stretch more easily. If you are not comfortable with this method, you may substitute the first round with the same number of chains and a round of single crochet.
Pattern Notes
- Do not join or turn after each round. This pattern is worked in the round using the spiral method, meaning that the rounds are worked continuously.
- After the first round, all sc stitches are worked into the back loop only (blo).
- To increase or decrease the circumference of your scarf, add or remove any number of stitches to the first (fsc) row.
Pattern
Begin with Color A.
Round 1: Fsc 186. Join with sl st to the first st. Do not turn. – (186 sts)
Round 2: Sc blo in each st around. Do not turn. – (186 sts)
Rounds 3-19: Repeat round 2 seventeen times.
Change to Color B.
Rounds 20-38: Repeat round 2 nineteen times.
Sl st in next 3 stitches to even out top edge.
Cut yarn and weave in ends.
Helpful Tip: Use the tail from the beginning of your project to seam the join in the first round to create a nice, smooth edge.
