I was so excited when I saw the brand new colors of this yarn launch this fall and new I had to make something special with it. I love using fingering weight yarn to design shawls, like my Amble Shawl & Venture Shawl patterns, but I wanted to make something different.
I loved the idea of stripes, but I did NOT want to weave in dozens of ends. Can you relate? It didn’t take long to come up with the idea of an infinity scarf, worked in the round, so I could carry up the yarn on the inside and not have ANY extra ends to weave in from the stripes! It worked out perfectly with fingering weight yarn so it’s a little extra cozy, without being too thick!
So there you have it… the Endless Infinity Scarf got it’s name because it has no extra ends to weave in from all the stripes. Plus, it’s one of those relaxing projects that is perfect to work on in the evening while you watch your favorite shows.
